Friday Five 2.24
o n e | Croissants | I'm in love! How did I just discover them? I think I've had at least two every week. Okay, maybe three or four. Luke said they're the best in France so I'm trying to figure out how to get to France ASAP!
t w o | The Academy Awards | Once upon a time, I would throw an annual Oscars Party. I would invite friends and family over to watch the sometimes painfully long ceremony, eat food inspired by the Best Picture nominees, and bet on who would win. Unfortunately this is the second year in a row without a party and I won't even be able to watch this Sunday because I don't even have real TV anymore. (Thanks Netflix & Hulu!) However, I'll be following along online and pulling for La La Land not to win despite my obsession!
t h r e e | "Felt This Good" by Kap Slap | I'm obsessed with this song! I heard it on a Pure Barre playlist while I was working and had to get it on Spotify ASAP. When I was jammin' to it in the car, I realized it was the ultimate break up song, but it's still so good! If you just broke up with someone, this is your new anthem.
f o u r | Scratch Off Map | For Christmas, Luke got me a scratch off map to track our adventures together. It is without a doubt one of my most prized possessions. This month, we were able to scratch off two new countries: Denmark and Sweden. Although, I have to admit, I'm disappointed I went to Sweden (via train from Copenhagen) and didn't get a stamp on my passport. Regardless, the trip was one to remember. See below!
f i v e | photo of the month | Let's be honest, this is in contention for photo of a lifetime for me. Luke and I got engaged while in Sweden last week! We are so over the moon! More to come...
